Iasi, in north-east of Romania, offer through its location an individual image. Iasi is situated, like Roma, on seven hills on area of 3770 hectare with 348.400 inhabitans. Iasi is considerated cultural capital of Romania. Through memorial houses, cultural centers, theaters, museums, libraries, monuments, filarmony, opera and mass-media offer a splendid mixture of the past with the present. The old buildings mix with the new constructions transforming the city into important social, economic and cultural center of romania. Important events of Romanian history took place in Iasi.
